Not sure but you don't really want to delay it six months for a delivery party do you? That's six months of EV driving you'd miss out on. You can always have your party indoors and have people play with the 17+ touch screen in the garage if it's really that bad outside. Or if the weather is ok, you can still go for rides. Anyway, it's going to be a great car and showing all of your friends the ability to remotely heat your car with the garage door closed might just sell a few cars too.

Wouldn't delay just for the party, but not sure if I want delivery in the dead of winter, kinda takes the fun out of taking ownership then taking it out on the open road, especially with all the salt in on the Roads in IL. But you are right, I do want to drive it ASAP.

I grew up in the midwest and lived in Chicago for 4 years. Winters do suck sometimes but there should be plenty of days where the roads are cleared of snow and it's just really, really cold. You're going to have to face a winter in your Model S at some point=) Have fun.

I think I may do a Model S delivery party as well. Great idea.
