I am not sure whether this has already been discussed. Although, the Model S has significantly less moving parts than a typical car, it does have plenty of electronics that might have problems. Does Tesla plan on having a sophisticated on board diagnostic program which can make reports on the health of its various electronic and mechanical components and send them wirelessly to a Tesla maintenance person? This would be a real boon to people further afield who would want to minimize the number of times they have to pay for ranger service.
