Good question; I hope the trunk liner can be lifted up and that there's some well-defined storage underneath for the UMC.
It something that Tesla should make if they already haven't. There used to be a storage place for a spare tire and jack located in cars of the past. Tesla should have a dedicated storage spot for all of its needed accessories.
I agree that this would be nice to have. Ideally it would also be in a spot that is accessible without needing to completely empty the trunk/frunk to get to it.
Does the Roadster have some dedicated spot for it?
The trunk. Which is slightly larger than a "storage space".
The trunk liner can be lifted up to reveal some additional space in the trunk, which is perfect for storing the UMC. Saw this in the beta this weekend at Newport Beach.
This space is the foot-well for the rear-facing seats, which is covered by a hatch if you don't get the seats.
