    Well, you could also put the car in neutral. Then it will coast freely.

    In practice, you don't need to. Go pedal response is so low latency that finding the zero point is easy. And once you get used to <mostly> one-pedal driving (takes less than two weeks), you won't want to go back.

    For mountain twisties, EV w/ go pedal regen >>> ICE.
