Thanks TEG. Doug, really nice visual of how the car can travel for extended trips. The only thing that might have made it better was adding total travel time and total charging time (seven course meal or hamburger snack) with the 411 km distance. Something that shows the nay-sayers that electric really works.
And what better place to stop than a steak house? That should be a national law, all steak places must install charge stations
All those wide shots of Doug make him look like The Equalizer.
Yeah, that's me all right... very dangerous with a, uh, steak.
Toronto to Ottawa
TMC threadThis particular example of imbecillist Canadianus was spotted literally pulling, get this, a 250-kilogram solar-powered car from Toronto to Ottawa. Yes, to prove that an automobile powered by nothing other than the sun is the future of personal mobility, Marcelo da Luz walked his car from The Big Smoke to Parliament Hill in a 28-day trek that saw the 44-year-old flight attendant strap himself into a harness and do his best Clydesdale impression.
Saw that the actual driver responded pretty well.
