I was was told that the white beta in the DC store is VIN number 22. In other words, an early version. Thery are hoping to get a later version in the near future.

Yes, so the fact that they keep asking more, each Tuesday, is an indication that they indeed intend to start production even if perhaps slowly.

Question for all you numbers types:
Elon in the Earnings Call said "So we’ve got the first 100 cars locked-in"... Now that was May 9. I think I have seen that all of the Special sigs and the very first regular sig have been contacted by then. So is there a discrepancy? Shouldn't it be way over 200? or is Elon being conservative (certainly he would not be uninformed). Or are a lot of people not answering their email and punching the button? Or maybe there are a lot of holes in the list? Thanks -
