Vehicle Dynamics, Tire Dynamics and Control
The Dynamics and Control department has developed a battery electric research vehicle, using a VW Lupo 3L as donor vehicle. The vehicle offers an interesting combination of low mass (1060 kg), large battery capacity (27 kWh), range (170 km at100 km/h) and performance (top speed: 130 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 12 seconds). The vehicle is approved by the Dutch roadworthiness authorities and is allowed to drive on the public road.
