Envia Systems announced earlier this week what they claim is a world record energy density for rechargeble batteries.
They claim the 400 Wh/kg battery will slash the price of a "300 mile range ev" by lowering the price of the lithium batteries by more than 50 percent.
Does anyone know whether Tesla is interested? The fact that GM appears to be an investor raises some interesting questions.
