    Reading the article, I'm not seeing any connection to EVs. Can you point out to me what I'm apparently overlooking?

    Looks like the oil was from an oil-cooled electrical transformer.

    Now wait for the people that were not concerned by the Exxon Valdez or the Deepwater Horizon accidents to make a big deal how unacceptable an environmental risk EVs are. But, of course, any other use of electricity is perfectly acceptable.....

    I too did not see the correlation to EVs but yet an interesting article.
