I've not had to try it.
I carry set in my car with halogens in it. My car has xenon. If I ever get stopped, I will just hope they don't notice.

The good news from Spain is that I got interviewed for a TV spot about the Roadster and the big meeting in Geneva. Should get aired Tuesday. Some nice shots of the Roadster in action were taken.
The bad news is that after getting every stop organised with 32A charging I have to stay at work until Wednesday midday. This will mean it would be nearly impossible to arrive before 8pm Friday (and that will require sleeping very little and everything going without a hitch).
We'll be at the gala dinner (if Tesla CH let us) and the motor show all day Friday but I'll be burning aviation fuel to get there
Sorry to let you guys down... Off in the Roadster to the Parador de Sigüenza (32A charging arranged) to compensate.
