A Gulf Coast Solar Lifeline, Courtesy of Elon Musk, Tesla and SolarCity[/h][h=2]The first of $10 million in solar power equipment charity is going to South Bay Communities Alliance, in Coden, Ala., where Hurricane Katrina destroyed 700 homes.
There probably aren't too many Tesla Roadsters in the hardscrabble Gulf Coast fishing community of Coden, Ala., which has been hit hard by the double whammy of Hurricane Katrina and the BP oil spill.
