Huh? I am in the dark as the rest of you. They have their own name for some alternative door design... We will probably know soon what they mean.

Nah, they mean lovely bi-color doors like the original 1963 Ford Falcon!

OK, thanks, but I figure there isn't anything publicly online for me to find.
I did do a couple of quick image searches on falcon doors just in case, but nothing Tesla related seemed to be there... yet...

By the way, I would tend to think "butterfly doors" more than "gullwing doors":

Butterfly doors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (McLaren F1 drivers are familiar with these...)
    vs

I would think anything extending above an aready taller CUV would be bad. Perhaps Sissor doors ? Don't they hinge lower ? Or maybe it is one of those smaller rear doors that is suicide like the Saturn or Mazda use.

Somehow I suspect the engineers at Tesla are reading this thread and chuckling....

Somehow I think a good portion of the engineers at Tesla don't even know about the Falcon doors yet either...

I recall at the Model S factory tour, news that the Sport model would be available on day 1 was a surprise to some staff.
