    Nissan's V2H plans

    With concerns that natural disasters can disrupt your power grid, the idea that your car battery could power your home in an emergency is gaining a lot of traction in Japan right now.

    Nissan seems serious about releasing products to make this functionality available soon.

    It's about saving money also. In Tokyo I currently pay 11 cents per kWh from 11pm until 7am, and around 36 cents per kWh the rest of the time.
