Climate control / recirc always available?

Those who've had a chance to play with a Beta, were the climate control options all working?

My question is if turning on the front defrost prevents you from having recirc on at the same time like most cars..

My Prius turns off recirc, but you can press the button to turn it back on. Most of the other cars I've owned don't allow it at all (another Toyota loaner I had recently didn't allow this), leading to me constantly fiddling with the controls to turn recirc on and off as the front fogs up. I'd like the tiny selling point for Tesla that you are not forced to suck in everyone's smelly emissions to the cabin while driving...

Recirc doesn't prevent all new air. It just adds recirculation to the new air coming in the car.
