Radio settings reset every morning

I searched the forum but did not find the answer to this issue.

Every morning I get into my car and everything is completed off when I get in. the tesla logo shows up on the cluster when I hit the breaks and the car comes on. but my radio bass, mid and trebble settings have been reset every time...

the car being completely off just started a few days ago. also the radio was always on when I opened the door in the morning and now it's completely black on cluster and dash.

anyone know of this issue and has a workaround?

thanks!

You have not called the help desk yet? Definitely something that needs the attention of the Service Center.

Sounds like you may have energy savings mode on. I have it on all the time and have no issues with my EQ settings. Have you tried rebooting your center screen?

Here are the instructions for energy savings modes

Energy savings mode has always been on and never changed the setting since day 1. the issue started a few days ago. I was supercharging earlier and the car completely shut off (twice) while I was in the car. all the screens went black and I had to hit the brake pedal to restart it. it seems like it's rebooting instead of just the screens coming back on.

I'd call Tesla and ask them to look at your vehicle logs

These are frustrating problems to recreate. I had a somewhat similar problem but it was only happening once a week. I'd come in the car and all the tone settings would be flat. The service center couldn't replicate the problem. Fine, no big deal. If it only happens once a week I can cope. What's far more annoying is that since I've gotten the car back from them it turns off Dolby every single reboot. Every time I get back into the car Dolby is off. That is annoying.

I don't think they're going to be able to look at your logs on this. It's going to be a service appointment.

This is happening to several cars. The car logic is such that it sets the tone flat and Dolby OFF during phone calls. It's supposed to then set them back to your settings once your phone call ends.

Seems Tesla is aware of it, but I don't know of an official fix for when the audio stays flat, or what, specifically causes it.

I noticed that yesterday when I was on the phone, but mine went back to my settings. Perhaps if it's related to the phone I'd turn off the Bluetooth on my phone and see if the settings reset if the car doesn't connect to a phone.

I called it in with a slew of other issues they never called me on last Wednesday. I get a call Thursday that a supervisor will call me with an appointment and no call. I call Monday and I'm told he's speaking to the manager about all your issues and will call you when he's done, no call. I call today with the radio issues and all the other stuff and was told, don't worry I will call you back in a bit myself (this was 9 am), no call...

I think they're not happy because they need to replace all of my tires. The cpos are supposed (as per protocol) to be delivered with 6/32 all around at a minimum and all of my tires are 4/32nds and go as low as 3/32nds on the fronts.

am I being unreasonable? no. that's the protocol I got from them in writing. I was told as per protocol, there is no negotiating on cpos, I said fine. also they cant help the price I get for my trade-in as per protocol, I said fine, but I was able to get a little more out of them.

if I follow protocol, you must follow it too.

I like the people I'm dealing with, including the sales guy and delivery specialists. but this delay/holdup is making me wonder why.
