Google Maps not loading

I also had this issue this week, and probably before that. At some point it resolved itself. I'm tired to reports these maps issues to Tesla so I just live with them !

I was just having the same issue - not using nav, but the map tiles were not loading. Very strong 3G area.

I have been having that problem for the last couple of weeks and today drove 100 miles and had nothing or a couple of squares the whole time. Rebooted twice and nothing all this with 3 to 5 bars 3G.

I had this issue earlier today and tried resetting which didn't help, but when I came back from brunch, it looked like it was working again. Guessing there was something on the server/API key side of things.

Mine was having problems yesterday, but a reset helped. This morning, another reset helped. But now, it's completely dead. Many resets and nothing. Wifi and 3G makes no difference.

Has not been working all day for me...never had this issue before. Tesla message boards also have a thread on this

Can't be. Web pages load. And it does not work on WiFi either.

Having the same issue of the last day with both the satellite view and the traffic data--my Apple Music Radio has also been acting up, so assumed something on AT&T's end.

Noticed it on the ride home and didn't think anything of it. Good to hear others are having the issue too.

Just talked to Tesla and they said there is an issue with Google and the ETA for a fix is before 7 am tomorrow morning.

I came from Canada and am taking a vacation in orlando fl. today, I am hit with the same issue too. It was working previously. hope it can be resolved asap

Tiles not loading in the map app, but Google's maps loads in the browser. Can't be an ATT/Google issue.
I'm crossing my fingers for ken380's report of a fix by morning.

The Tesla app is probably using a really old api that was shut off or similar... Or perhaps they hit volume limits with more teslas on the road...

Seems like it has been reported, so hopefully will be addressed tomorrow AM.

Hit me too, In Canada. .. so it's not an AT&T issue.. we don't use them here.

I fell back on using browser with PlugShare site up... crude navigation that at least showed routes, when the nav was down.

And of course this has to happen when I'm pushing the range limits in -18C weather, and one wrong turn or missed exit could mean hitting 0% battery ... and a very cold family reassessing the choice of having gone electric for this Christmas holiday getaway.
