If concrete actions by countries around the world are taken, such as increasing subsidies for EVs, solar, wind, and the fledgling ocean power sector, that will be a great start. It will be even better if they end at least some of the subsidies being given to the oil companies.

What we could also do is tax fuel to ensure it never falls below a certain agreed upon level, let's say $2.50 per gallon. Each year, the tax could increase by $0.05. All of the money generated would go to EVs, solar, wind, and ocean power.
