    How different will the Model X be from the version shown at the Tesla Roadshow?

    Also, whatever happen to this being the Tesla Model X? The Lotus APX

    Tangent/detour/red-herring. Some people thought since Lotus supplied Roadster chassis technology Tesla might use APX for Model X.
    I think Tesla has since hired enough in-house talent to do their own chassis, and I doubt they go back to Lotus for anything substantial like that.

    I doubt we see Tesla ever build another car off of a modified ICE car chassis. There is too much to be gained by optimizing the design based on the packaging benefits of an under floor battery/pack and integrated PEM/Motor/gearbox between the wheels.

    Agreed, plus I'd prefer they not follow that styling. It's ugly IMO.

    I see... Now how differently will the "X" be from the roadshow Model S based version?
