I am merely polling forum member's opinion on the subject to see if they have an authoritative source to support the view that Signatures will be discounted.

Are you asking for opinions or asking for an authoritative source? You've gotten several of the former. Many of us Sig holders feel something tangible is merited given the length of time, quantity of money, and level of risk involved, but that's simply our opinion.

I really doubt you're going to find the latter since there's never been anything ever officially said. The only thing that's remotely authoritative is TEG's comment about Sig roadster purchases. Comments from sales folks have been wildly across the board on price, features, etc, so sadly I don't think we can count any of those statements as authoritative as this point.

Interesting tid bit from the DC showing of the S. Model year 2012 is SOLD OUT!!! they are now taking reservations for the 2013 MY. There are still a "few" signatures left to buy. They expect the Signatures to be delivered in July and August and then 4-5000 regulars to be delivered for Sept- Dec.

First of all it is half a year not a full year and second they will be ramping up production the first year slowly. AFAIK it has always been the plan to sell 5-6000 the first year including the Signatures.
