White-lettered tires anyone?

No, I like it!

As far as I am aware, those letters were painted white by the owners, not white compound imbedded in the tire.

I can't believe this topic made it to the Tesla forums.

I was thinking of something like this for my Model S. What do you guys think?

In '85 I bought a new Monte Carlo, drove it 15 years, had raised-whites on it most of the time. I actually looked for this for my Model S but couldn't find anything suitable.

Oh, I don't know. They do offer a certain glitz to low profile tires...perhaps in some Model Ses that are wrapped in funkier colors or have significant modifications to them. That F12 looks pretty slick.

Why just have the letters be white. Going all white makes more of a statement and the look is quite striking I think.

Me too - my dad made me do it with something called a Brillo Pad.

I cleaned my dad's with Bleche-Wite, and I always remember the fact that they looked gooooood when finished!
