the Ol' "Model X" took quite a hit this morning

Yikes! Getting on the freeway ... sudden excitement

Hard to believe it didn't break the windshield (or kill me or somebody else) but I hadn't gotten going very fast.
AND - the shop that did the oil change - gross - on the Ol' Model X :wink: - and didn't check the rusty hood latch - are paying for it !!
Moral(s) to story (?)
Check your latches
& Watch out for people like me on the freeway!

Ha! I started this thread in off topic, but lost wifi & ended up putting it in model X instead.
Thanks all. To me, in retrospect, it was a relatively gentile reminder that driving on the freeway is, for most of us, one of the most dangerous things we will ever do, at least on a regular basis without considering it as such.
So get a Tesla, right?
