Fisker changes name to Karma Automotive

Cool!

I like the Karma. Hope that they will improve it.

Maybe they'll have better Karma now that they've gotten rid of Fisker...

Are they at least going to build a full electric car this time or are they going to stick a gasoline engine in there just for some bad karma?

Not unheard of, it's just like the Land Rover Land Rover. Either way, a much better brand name than Elux.

I drove a Cheverolet Chevy in Mexico a couple of years ago. So, yeah, not unheard of.

Are you sure? The normal production Karma can't charge at a Supercharger - the connectors are different, it doesn't know the protocols - AFAIK they don't even have the direct connections to the battery to make DCFC possible - and the ~20 kWh battery pack couldn't take 90 kW of charging power anyway.

The Fisker i saw had red manufacturer plates. I am thinking it wasn't the old car but some variant of the new vehicle.

Will the new Karma have same solar roof as first generation? (hope not)
