Convertible ev's out there?

I wonder if anyone out there has an ev convertible? With the quiet of the ev drivetrain I would think it would be great. I had a Miata years ago and really loved the car (not as much as my Model S mind you) but the worst thing about it was the noise.

I helped to convert a Miata to all electric drive. Here is a short overview video. Miata Grossman - YouTube It may be for sale if interested. I figure a quality conversion is about $20K plus the donor.

But of course my favorite EV convertible is the Roadster

It's hilarious but believe it or not I had no idea the Roadster was a convertible. I have only seen pictures of it with the top on.

i read and kept a very positive review on the electric Smart ForTwo that said it was far superior to the ice version.

The sad part is that there are many Model S owners who don't even know what a Roadster is.

I have never seen a real live Roadster.... In fact the first Model S I ever saw, other than in the showroom, was three days before we picked up our own. Ah, the trials of living in a small place!

My four-year old son and I were talking today, and he asked why does a convertible trunk go backwards and not frontwards? I was about to answer, when it struck me what a great idea that was. Sure you would not be able to lower it at low speeds (how often do people do this anyhow? ), but it would be awesome to have the roof in the frunk and fully available trunk..especially for model 3.

Would have to be some pretty fancy and complicated folding mechanism to get it to go over the windshield and then into a typically narrower front compartment compared to the rear. The mechanism's arms would have to, I presume, blend in to the A-pillars somehow too.
