Dedicated FUD attack at ABG

That post was linked to by the Drudge Report website. It would be nice if they also linked to any follow-up posts that might explain those sales numbers but I'm not holding my breath.

Or, everyone is tuned in to the success or failure of the cars. We just have to be patient and watch the numbers start to climb as production ramps up.

It's a shame that the title wasn't "GM & Nissan sold out of all supply, lines continue to form on the Internet."

I'll bet that less than 440 people even noticed the launch of the EV1!

Well the ABG article itself puts a negative spin on the issue and the questions raised could be easily answered with a little research. Nissan was delivering as many Leafs to their local market before the subsides end. (which have supposedly been renewed)

That article went completely downhill when all the outside commentators popped in. And it looks like they liberally used the up-rank and down-rank feature. Definitely a lot of anti-EV FUD saying there is no demand, when anyone who has followed the situation knows its a supply constraint. Even Engadget did a better report in noting there is a supply constraint rather than a demand one.
