Did my HPWC for me for $500, PVC conduit, about a 20-foot run. It was a clean install and Wesley was easy to work with.
I strongly recommend you get a Tesla HPWC and not the 14-50 route at home, unless cost is an issue. For $750, you have the convenience of something that looks super sexy on the wall and you never have to worry about not having your mobile charger in your trunk. Think hard on it.
