Some time ago in these forums I posed a question concerning the desirability of direct connect charging that was integral with parking. This was long before Elon surprised his engineers with the proposition for the “sort of metallic snake” that they have now presented in early form to him. But clearly we were not the only ones to understand the difficulties, real and perceived, of charging cables.
In fact the patent application for our solution was already submitted before Elon’s musing. We now have a mockup, 3D drawings, etc. What we need to know is if this will work.
We would like a small group of EV aficionados (who better than Tesla owners?) to act as a focus group and give us their thoughts as to usability, marketability, etc. We are in the Puget Sound area so, at least for this first meeting, are looking for people in that region. If you have an interest please contact me privately. We are seeking only six to twelve people and will take, at most, one hour of your time.
