Curious, I read about the issue when a car is in neutral and you leaving the driver seat causing it to go into park. I've read a few threads talking about this as it relates to car wash machine or driving reverse.

What at happen if you are driving normal like on freeway and you need to stretch or pull your pants to relax bunching or etc.,?

I haven't tried the reverse thing... will try it one of these days.

I do know if you have the drivers door open and you put in the Drive, it will only move about 1 foot and then put itself into Park. I sometimes do this to see how close I am to the line in the parking spot.

The behavior seems to be more prevalent in reverse; maybe because of the low speed. I have also noticed that it can be more pronounced if you don't have your seatbelt latched. My wife and I swap cars in the driveway frequently and I can easily recreate the issue reversing into the driveway if I'm in a hurry and don't fasten the seatbelt.
