Okay ladies and gentlemen and others, my darling blootiful is finally in my garage, currently on the sippercharger of 110v, but the Nema 14-50 being installed next week. Feast your eyes my darlings, isn't she BLOOTIFUL (yeah her real name, don't steal it!) Goes without saying, huge thanks to all the interaction with everyone here. I had a short drive home, but this is already the best car I have ever owned. More later, going for a drive. LOL
PS: Oh and I did win the LoTerEy, they told me that LTE is included for 4 years, what happens after that? How long does it take for the phone app to become functional?

Congrats. She is a blootiful car.
Based on your pic, it's a good thing the Tesla has plenty of head room.

LOL Pano roof helps, but I have to keep it open :)
On the sippercharger, it's charging at a measly 2mi/hr. I guess thats okay for now. Getting the real plug installed next week.

BTW, that blue+100%black combination looks exceptionally awesome!

Nice. :)

BTW, I think that picture was Photoshopped. If you look at the reflection in the glass, his head isn't really that big!

Thanks! Yeah that make up makes my head look bigger than it really is :)

"I thought you'd be bigger."

THANK YOU! :) Its charging at a measly 2mi/hr right now .. need that plug thing setup!

I can tell it's photoshopped. Nobody had sneaker soles that bright.
oh, the head. Missed that with the shoes.

My shoes are awesome. I wish I could get them again. Brooks pureflow 2.0 .. just can't find 'em .. and the new ones aren't as nice!

Congratulations kutta!! I like term "sippercharger". I may have to use that. I get 12a at 118-120v, so I get 3-4 miles depending on whether the BMS has to run the cooling or not. Overnight I still get about 35 miles added in. I will be getting a NEMA 14-50 installed soon as well. Enjoy Blootiful!

It says 12A on the readout, but only 2mi/hr here. Lets see what I get overnight.

She is a blooty...
What swag did you get? How about some photos of the interior.

Swag - keychain holders! Interior is all black with nextgen seats, and I got the center console too. Will post pictures later.

Your voltage will also make a difference. If you are getting 110v, that could be it as I get between 118-120v. Beyond that, running the cooling/heating system for the battery pack cuts into that. When mine is 3 mi/hr, I can hear the fans buzzing. When mine is 4 mi/hr, the car is dead silent.

Yep what Cyclone said. Its my only car.
My voltage is 113V. When the fans are buzzing, I get 1mi/hr.
When I am away from the car, I don't know what it is charging at .. its dead silent though.
I am still waiting for my phone app to work with my Tesla, so I can snoop on it. I'm guessing I'm getting 2-3mi/hr.

-- just checked...
3mi/hr at 113v, 12 amps.

I think I'll survive.

Congrats!

I believe the phone app is supposed to start working right after you officially accept delivery on the My Tesla Web site. If you have done so and it's not working there is something wrong; I suggest you call your delivery specialist.

I tested out charging on 120 volt 12 amp and got 4 MPH. If you're sitting in the car it's going to divert some power to run the A/C. Your charging speed will vary with ambient temperature since the car may have to heat or cool the battery pack.
