3D Printed Car Manufacturer Makes Questionable Claims?

From their site...

Uhhh, no, the fact that cars in general are not terribly green to manufacture is "a" problem, not "The" problem...the real problem is the emissions from the "daily use / operation" of ICE vehicles and the continued exploration / manufacture of an ICE vehicle's fossil fuel.

What a bizarre claim (more emissions from the manufacture of said ICE vehicle vs emissions from the lifetime operation of said ICE vehicle...)

Been to their site. Bold claims like:

-Up to 90% lighter than traditional vehicles with more strength and durability.
- Vehicles built by smaller local teams reduce costs, time, and enhance quality.
- A stronger, lightweight vehicle means less wear on roads and fewer accident fatalities... Oh, really?

Anyway, I always thought that the main efficiency is in the mass-producing of vehicles. Divergent is talking about built by local teams...

Also, they listed a 25MPG electric vehicle on there...

I complained about the 25mpg thing on their site, so they "fixed" the graph.

Now instead of the fuel economy of an EV being 25mpg, it's 85kWh.

Sigh.

85 kWh... per car? per 100 miles?

Anyway, I'm sure they will find plenty of people to drive their "ultra light weight, 0-60 in 2 seconds"
Leaving aside the fact that this is most definately vaporware, with "up to 90% lighter" and the speeds they advertise, the car actually taking off into the air would be a real problem.
Also "Took less than 30 minutes to assemble the chassis". Means we can buy the thing at IKEA?

Yeah... that's like showing the mileage of the gasoline car as "25 gallons". If they can't even figure this out, I'm very skeptical of their other claims.
