Very cool to win in such fine company! You must give us a closer English translation for this statement, perhaps it is a colloquial Norwegian phrase?

(edited for tender sensibilities)

" Many of the other cars is the "s**t fat," says a very happy Kjell-Arne Wold, Norway Chief of delivery, in Tesla Motors Norway, as he receives proof that Tesla Model S P85D was the car that got the most votes in the award year coolest car in 2015 ."

Yes it is. The phrase "dritfete" (s**t fat) - is a strong way to say that they are really marvellous.

(no reason to edit the Norwegian word: no Norwegian is that sensible ;) )

"Fat" is used the same way "phat" is used in English. (I believe it was adopted into Norwegian maybe 20 years ago from the english "phat".)

And it's pretty common to prefix "drit" (sh*t) to enhance the meaning of the following word. Just like you can in english say f*ing cool, f*ing awesome, etc.

As in "sh!t hot"

Fat "as in fat chicks" is fet, or feit in Norwegian.
Not that all slang can be translated....

The readers of this tabloid voted the MS P85D the hottest car, not for being the fastest, but the most desirable, or most "Cool".
(hopefully some of that magic spills over to the owners )
