Software update last night

I have to think that my software/firmware would have been the latest-greatest at delivery last week. But yesterday I got a notice that an update was ready... which I had it install last night. I haven't dug around to see if there is a place that indicates the version number, and haven't seen the expected flurry of posts about an update here either. Wondering if what I had was 'old' from the factory?

Can anyone tell me in a sentence where to find the version number?

At the top of the UI on the 17" display, there's a "T" logo that will display version information when tapped.
