Hi all,

I know it's a known location, but wanted to post that the Holiday Inn & Suites in Downtown Duluth, MN has 4 ChargePoint L2 30amp chargers. They let guests of the hotel charge for free (easy to get a charge overnight), the hotel staff are knowledgeable and spots are well marked. We were up there over the long weekend and had a great time! Only 198 rated miles from Minneapolis to Duluth according to evtripplanner so even a 60 could probably make it in good weather.

Thanks.

I can confirm that the drive to Duluth from Minneapolis is perfectly doable in a 60 in the summer. I probably wouldn't chance it if temps were below 40 though, not without an intermediary stop to pick up some range. My usual route to Duluth is via the Eau Claire SC via Hwy53, though I've done the route from the the cities. Can't wait till the Duluth SC goes in, hopefully sometime this year.

I'll also put in a recommendation for the Chargepoint charger at The Depot, just a couple blocks down from the hotel mentioned above, especially if you aren't staying in Duluth http://www.duluthdepot.org/. It's especially nice since it's a 240V, 30A L2, which gives you a couple extra watts vs. the normal 208V L2 that charge point typically installs. Plus The Depot is a great place to hang out while you charge especially if you have kids.
