I'm going to be going to Everett for a wedding in Granite Falls and I wondered if anyone knew of a reasonable place with charging.

1. I've check "find us" and there is one for $500/day minimum.

2. tesla.plugshare.com shows a few in downtown Seattle ($35 /day for parking plus)

3. There's one in Mt. Vernon, but that's 50+ miles away and it's north rather than south, although so far that's the best choice.

4. I've emailed a few places, but so far no positive results.

Thanks!!

How long are you staying, and how much juice or "miles" do you think you'll need while you're in the area? Also, are you travelling to WA via I-5 (from Oregon) or another route?

Keep in mind that Burlington (supercharger) isn't very far (40.9 mi. from Granite Falls and 15.9 mi from Everett).

Here in the northwest with our cheap hydro power very few people go to the extra effort to install a gas clothes dryer.

So I would say query bed and breakfasts about unplugging the dryer and plugging the car in with adapters overnight.

If necessary I can loan you the stuff you need and I am more and likely on your way to Everett.

I'm staying for three nights and will be be driving from I-90 direction. (Coming from Texas the I-90 is shorter by about 400 miles.)

The Paca Pride Guest Ranch looks like a great choice Thanks!!

That mileage from the Burlington SC didn't look right. Via I-5, Google maps shows 40.2 miles from the SC to Everett and 43.1 to Granite Falls.

Yes. I was hoping to avoid going there and having to back-track.

There's a "Homewood Suites" in Lynnwood that has a 30A J1772 that's free for guests. However it's commonly ICEd and the hotel staff doesn't enforce the parking as it supposedly fills up at night. We stayed there one night and one of the staff was kind enough to park their car so we could use it but it wasn't a guarantee.

Other than that it was a pretty nice Hotel for the price and had quick access to I-405 & I-5.

There are plenty of J1772s in Everett. Comcast center parking has like 18. Lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Everett Community College has a number. Ten minutes north on the freeway (and a straight shot east to GF), the outlet mall next to the casino in Marysville has j1772s and a chademo (though it seems to be having problems lately). PlugShare for more details.

Not sure what range you need when you get into Seattle area for your wedding, but you're more than welcome to stop at my house in North Bend to get some juice off my 80A HPWC. I'm about 76 miles from the Ellensburg, WA supercharger (which is the last one you'll hit on I-90 before getting into the Seattle metro area), about 58 miles from Everett and 71 miles from Granite Falls. So if you fill up at my place and you don't need a ton of range around town for the wedding you might get by without charging at all otherwise or might make it a little easier to just do a trip up to Burlington, WA for a charge. You don't mention when the wedding is so I'm not sure how this fits around our schedule (have our own wedding going on in August). I'm on plugshare or you can PM me, happy to help if I can.

Thanks. It's going to be in mid-July. I'll be able to get a tiny amount of range at the Paca Pride, but it's only 110, so enough to get around for the Wedding and things, but most likely not enough to get back to Ellensburg.

We'll be around except for around the weekend of the 10th-12th (roughly). Planning to go to TMC Connect. But we could probably still arrange for access to our charger for you if you might need it around then. So just let me know.

Incidentally, there is public charging in North Bend now as well. I posted about it on the other thread, but putting a breadcrumb on this thread since I'm guessing jerry33 doesn't read our forum.

North Bend, WA Outlet Mall - CHAdeMO and J1772 Public Charging

Right. I can't read all the posts in all the threads.

There is a Springhill Suites in Bothell that has a Sema Connect J1772 right behind it: http://api.plugshare.com/view/location/51027
SpringHill Suites Seattle Bothell
3850 Monte Villa Parkway, Bothell, WA 98021, United States

It is only 10 miles or so north to Everett from there. I also have a Chademo adapter as well as 14-50 and 30 amp J1772 at my house in Everett, PM me if need that info.

Thanks!!

I've got an external 14-50 and a garage 80A HPWC in Bellevue. We can probably coordinate use of the latter. The former is public exposed. PM me if you need more details, jerry.

Just got back last night and the trip was a success, except we never had time to meet with Brianman.

What I learned:

1. I-70 is not going to set any Wh/mi records.

2. The navigation system worked fine as long as you clear out additional charging stops.

3. Paca Pride's 110V gave a 4 mph charging rate, so I never had to do additional charging.

4. Overall Wh/mi was 252 over 5337 miles.

5. Here are a couple of pictures (sorry about the lack of Tesla content, but we couldn't take the clothes outside on the gravel).
