    277V charging?

Does anyone know if you can charge at 277V single phase? Three phase 480V power is pretty common for any decent sized office building or industrial park so most of the lighting systems run off of 277V.

You could try it. I'd expect the worst outcome to be a charge error. The roadster seems to tolerate 90-250V so the extra 30v may not bother it. Might be a question for your TM tech.

Won't work. The fault trip voltage is 250v.

Will not work as Petefish said. We had a Tesla drive event at my house and the utility was throwing 255V momentary spikes which kicked all the charging cars offline everytime a spike came through.

Watch doing that as you'll blow a PEM line fuse.
