Roadster logs

The big news this week is that a parser was released to convert roadster data log files into human-readible form. This is a great opportunity not just for tesla drivers, who can learn more about their cars, but also the academic community, who can analyze the data for insights on mpg-equivalents, battery cycles, and how EVs perform under different conditions like city and highway driving.

If it were me ... my concern would be one of privacy. I would strongly advise any Tesla Roadster owner to not share logs with persons unknown. (And any privacy policies from unknowns should be carefully evaluated and viewed with a high degree of skepticism.)
