I'm in for the long haul. I've pointed out before that my mind set is one of paying tithes to the future via Tesla. They can have every cent I invested.

The problem is that Tesla didn't get any of the money you invested unless you bought at the IPO. Otherwise you're just giving money to someone who owned the stock before selling it to you.

True, but buying the stock raises the stock price, which increases the value of Tesla Motors, which gives them more credibility for loans and such. It does help.
