Thread: Are you also investing in Tesla?

And I was hoping it'd drop again before doing this oh well.

sigh. and to think I bought 2000 shares on Friday at 33.83 but dumped them for a modest gain I'm amazed by the patience of some of you who are already looking at returns at 60% or more. Take some profits when you can!

Oh, I have taken profits many times, and bought back many times..but I keep a core position for the long term. Right now I only own 50% of the shares I owned the last time I bought on 1/13. I was hoping we'd get down to around $30 and I could start rebuilding my position, but that hasn't worked out. And that is exactly why I keep a core long-term position.

Just sold shares I bought last month that are in my IRA, so no worries about short term gains. I think this is the 4th time I've been in and out. Will hopefully rebuy on the dip after people take profits.

I would hate to be a short right about now...

Woo Hoo, I'm ride'n the TSLA train!!

Sorry It's my first stock purchase ever @ $26 the day after the 20% drop.

Another great benefit of getting a Model X is that I get to ride Tesla's stock up for longer before taking profits (on my responsible investment amount) to make my Model X purchase.

I feel the need to point out that emotional stock investing is generally a good way to lose a lot of money, speaking from experience.
