Expanding upon Rick's answer. These are the following ways that different customers will experience different pricing:
- buying a loaner/demo/marketing vehicle that has miles and age on it: mileage and age discount; car is sold as new
- buying a CPO (certified pre-owned) vehicle implies buying "used" that has had a previous owner and will have mileage and age discounts; car is sold as used
- some locations have state sales tax, some don't; this typically affects new car purchases
- some locations have state incentives, some don't; this typically affects new car purchases
- U.S. locations have a federal incentive of $7,500; some conditions apply, related to your personal tax situation
- when you lock in your configuration, the final pricing is set; if you configure on a different day (, hour, minute, second) than another customer you may get different pricing
- if you buy in a different market (think U.S. vs. Canada vs. China vs. ...) pricing will be subject to different costs such as import duties, and exchange rate fluctuations
Apart from the above, "pretty much everybody pays the same price". This is VERY different than the "haggling game" that you play at dealerships.
It's much more like buying from amazon.com, or dell.com, or ...
