It makes you realize that if current battery technology was developed 100 years ago, ICE would have never happened, and if EVs were the standard, trying to enter the market with an ICE would be laughable. Since EV's are better, the opposite is true. As Elon has said before, if you want to enter into a market that's already saturated with incumbents, your product has to be A LOT better....not just a little better. The Model S vindicates that argument.

If "gasoline" cars came out today, the Gov't would NEVER let you handle such an explosive, carcinogenic substance as often as we do... by which I mean NEVER.
It's not like you can pop in to CVS and get some dynamite.

Spectacular! The best way to convince people is through humor and this is right on the money.
