We have lots of massassauga rattlers in my neck of the woods. They're fairly common in wooded areas outside of the city. This snake looks similar, but not exactly the same.

Also lots of snakes around here, you can see them most days in the State House.

That is something I don't miss here in Germany: rattlesnakes or other highly dangerous animals.
