I guess the Lightning would work for him though a car named after the guy who tamed lightening seems even more manly.

Gee, Darren appears to be angry and stupid...not a desireable way to go through life imo.

This problem is more prolific than I thought. Katy Perry's "Ur so gay" has the following lyrics:

I hope you hang yourself with your h&m scarf
While jacking off listening to Mozart
You beep and moan about LA
Wishing you were in the rain reading Hemingway
    You don't eat meat
    And drive electrical cars
You're so indie rock it's almost an art
You need SPF 45 just to stay alive

You're so gay and you don't even like boys
    No you don't even like
    No you don't even like
No you don't even like boys
Perhaps, instead of fighting and protesting the joke, we should embrace it and defuse it. Now I don't claim to be a humorist nor a publicist, but if someone says, "having an electric car is so gay." One could reply, "Wow, until now I didn't know gays were so cool." Instead of saying, "stop using 'gay' as a derogatory slur, and don't insult electric cars, because you are hurting my feelings <waa waa!>"

Perhaps someone with more flair will understand what I'm saying and phrase it better.

My usual retort for anything stupid like this - is to say the ev haters are actually terrorist sympathisers. Usually works.

    Question asked:
And what do you have against electric cars anyway? Ron Howard: Nothing! We have a
couple of them in our family including the one I primarily and happily
    drive.
    Do we know?
