What do you guys think? If I was able to get the new Deep Metallic Blue a couple months ago I would probably not have wrapped but I do love how the wrap protects the car and diffuses light so that the color is more visible vs a glossy finish.

Absolutely gorgeous. I am very impressed by the two posts I've seen about full body color changing wraps (the other being a bumblebee yellow wrap). I am almost tempted to go with basic black and spend the $1k on the wrap since I want a complete protective wrap anyways.
Omg. That's exactly what I want!! Whaley brands and color codes is that wrap? What did you do about parking sensors? What did it cost? Where did you get it done?
Thanks all for the compliments! I was actually inspired by another thread on this site which you may see under "similar threads" below with a vossen video of the blue wrapped tesla. Mine is the brand Avery, color Brilliant Blue Matte Metallic which is code SW900-671-M.
I got it done at Graphios near me in the Chicago area, it was a little over $2K for me but can run much higher from what I have read, some have paid up to $10k. Some cheaper places may use a razor blade which can scratch underlying paint so make sure its a reputable place if cheaper. I saved a bit cause I had the dark blue paint underneath which isnt noticeable in the gaps so they didnt really need to take off many parts to wrap fully and I didn't have them do any inside areas like the door wells. Some places would also charge more for a warranty, I figured it is rated to hold up well and I can always get a panel replaced if needed.
I am not sure about how they handled parking sensors but mine work fine. I paid a little extra for them to wrap around the T in the nosecone too, it does not seem to affect autopilot radar.
I heard that although wrap can withstand alot it needs to be cared for well, there are several sites that mention safe cleaning solution and wax to protect vinyl wrap and suggest washing it at least twice a month to avoid damage from salt (winter), bird droppings, acid from bugs etc. I found some groupons for detailing (to do the extra protectant every 2 months with special solutions) and got package deals for frequent basic hand washes with safe cleaners.

There are a few sites with suggestions of safe cleaning solutions that are okay for vinyl wrap, there are some that have chemicals that can break it down so have to be careful what is used; one of them suggested the Ultimate collection by Meguiar's so that's what they used today. The guy used all 3 today and then said he would do the detailer once every 2 months (helps bead water to prevent pollutants) and then every 2 weeks would wash with the wash&wax and quick wax I believe. It actually seems a little shinier now than it did before but still diffuses the light more than a glossy paint, I get many compliments wherever I go

I also decided that I am now going to wrap the wood trim as well, since I am not a fan of the matte obeche wood (mostly cause of the rough feel and bland look, doesn't feel high quality). I have grey leather and white alcantara.
What do you think of these? Since the interior is mostly flat with only slight curves (trim around display, around cupholders and the cover of the center console will be wrapped), the wallpaper should work okay, though it may leave residue due to stronger adhesive I think. I like the other one too, ordered both since it is so cheap.

The wrap looks nice.
On the wood grain print wrap, I'd worry about looking like you pasted a picture of wood onto the car rather than real wood. Costs more but there are other preformed trim pieces with different wood options if you want something unusual. My concern with them is that I still suspect they'd be noticeable though the seller claims they are so thin that they aren't really. Can't remember off hand where they were sold, but it was one of the usual suspects that's on the forum, like evannix, teslacessories (or however spelled, sorry), etc.

The car wrap is specifically made so that it can easily be removed without residue, some brands are better than others for that though. The second wood wrap for interior should also be easy to remove but the wallpaper one likely would leave residue.

Just for fun they also put my blue wrap on part of the interior to see if I liked that but I thought it would be overkill on the blue!
