Icon10 New Roadster in the Boston area!

I've got a reservation in and a Roadster picked out! I can't wait! I also can't believe I'm crazy enough to do it!

Do I have any neighbors on here?

BTW I'll be writing up a blog entry on my test drive of the Roadster (I drove a sport model around for about an hour a few days ago) soon (the blog in my profile). I'm tickled pink with the idea of an all-electric car so this whole thing is thoroughly exciting to me. WOO HOO!

Welcome cinergi--I like the handle. I'm on the North Shore, awaiting a Model S. Congrats on the Roadster.

Boy do I know that feeling.

    You will not regret it!

As an aside I once worked at a company called Cinergi there.

Thanks! I just signed a few hours ago and it should be on its way here in less than 2 weeks. Talk about anticipation!

Wait a sec!!!! What do you mean, "here in less than 2 weeks?" Please elaborate. You bought a vehicle that had already been produced? What VIN#? Why am I waiting months and you get a 2 week wait?

I picked mine out from ones already produced. It's #1077. The 2 weeks doesn't include transportation time from CA (so it'll be about 4 before I actually have it).

I sure hope it's not 4 weeks! Right after I made that post, I found out my vehicle is entering the paint shop. What a coincidence, we are sequential! I'm # 1078.

No kidding! That's ridiculous(ly funny)! When I selected 1077, I was informed that it was literally in flight to San Fran from England.

I think you two are going to have to go on road trips so that you can park them next to each other again, as they were on the factory floor.
