I hope it allows for more granular control of the car such as speed, acceleration (power usage), geo fencing say within a 1 mile radius so you get a notification if driven further, as well as the range the car can be driven (3 miles should be more than enough range to valet park your car!).
Also it should pretty much lock down everything not needed to park the car including the audio system. It should basically turn the car into a poorly optioned Kia Rio.

Yes, and hopefully they will randomly shift the PIN keypad around so you can't look at standard keypad number positions to break the code.
better if in future models they add some bio ID like fingerprint in iPhones to activate some car features

On the Roadster it is a very nice feature. It does require a pin to enable and disable and it limits power to about 50% and top speed to about 55. It also tells you how far it has been driven as well as how many trunk attempts and pin attempts there has been.

I believe Valet mode was from day one and was VERY surprised to see the Model S did not have it. I have one of the early 1.5 models.
Roadsters had Valet Mode from the beginning, as far as I know.
It is odd that it has taken this long to show up in the Model S. But once 6.2 is out that will be one less thing we can complain about.
