Did anyone install an aftermarket armrest in their Roadster? I'd love the extra support during long drives, and I could use it to keep tall passengers in their 50% of the car
Yes, please!
There is very little space for an armrest, and it would have to be able to move up so you could use the hand brake.
What is needed is a small pad that attaches on top of the narrow carbon fiber piece just behind the hand brake so you could rest your elbow on it.
1.5 owners have an advantage in that they can rest their right hand on the gearshift. Just another reason that the 1.5 is the "best" Roadster version ;-)

Looks like the Lotus Evora has an armrest (see photos in this link), so maybe it's part can be adapted to the roadster?
The Evora is a bigger car. As with most things like this, it's best to check if a solution was found in the Elise/Exige community.

I am familiar with that problem, but part of the problem is that the passenger gets less than 50%. Have you tried riding on that side?
Who would want to ride on that side if he had the opportunity to be behind the wheel!!:tongue:
