The typical recommended curing time from body shops is 30 days. Some shops will double bake the paint to speed up the curing process. Much like the clear bra installation, the most important thing when it comes to aftermarket paint is who is doing the work. Aftermarket paint is all done by hand. If the panel is not primed correctly or painted correctly, it won't matter how long you let the paint cure. The paint may still lift during an installation or if the film needs to be replaced in the future.
Finding the right Clear Bra company will also lessen the chance of paint lift. This is a craft oriented industry, so do your research and find the best. Let us know if you have any questions. We've been specializing in PPF for over 20 years and have seen it all. Hope things work out for you.
