SpaceX Falcon 9 v1.1 launch - ABS/Eutelsat

This next SpaceX launch is scheduled to fly within the next couple of weeks, per the NasaSpaceFlight update thread.

The last mission (DSCOVR) launched just a week ago today. If the end-of-the-month date holds for this upcoming launch, the pad turnaround time would be less than 3 weeks -- pretty remarkable!

This ABS/Eutelsat launch will forego first-stage return and landing attempts, as the rocket will need its full performance to lift these two satellites to orbit. No landing legs, even.

Indeed. Launch is now no earlier than Sunday, March 1st. Static Fire might be today, or might be later this week. Would still be a pretty quick turnaround.

Launch is tonight, rocket went vertical on the pad last night.

And nominal flight up through the first second-stage burn. There's another burn in 20 minutes or so, but the webcast has ended.
