That would make a sedan top speed record. The fastest sedan in the world is the Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed with a top speed of 200mph.

I actually think they've stayed remarkably well on schedule...

Yeah they've moved the first customer cars from middle-end 2011 til very late 2011, early Q1 2012. That's not much of a delay considering they've now got the place and the money to get the car on the road.
Contrasting that with the Karma which initially was supposed to compete with the Roadster and now suddenly has been almost moved to the Model S timeframe.
Otherwise an interesting article...

I suspect a units/typo confusion. 212 kph would be about 132 mph, which is about right.
