Buy CHAdeMO adapter in Japan?

Are the CHAdeMO adapters available for purchase in Japan? I'll be going on a vacation there and then accepting delivery of my Model S when I get back.

If they're available there, wouldn't it make more sense to buy one there instead of waiting for who knows how long here?


PS: I live in an area with no super chargers but several city-provided CHAdeMO chargers.

They said they could order it in for $600USD or so.
