Just received my "welcome" email from my DS today and he mentioned about PA being a self-registration state where you have to go to the tag store and register there and pay your taxes.
I'm planning to finance as much of the purchase price as I can since rates are so low. I always include the tax in my loans, but I've never had to register the car myself (Usually the dealer does it and it's one big check from the bank.) Anyone have experience with this? I'm wondering if I can get the credit union to write two checks for the loan - one to Tesla, and one to me for the sales tax (Or maybe right to the state/tag store.)
